Education
I graduated from Harlingen High School in 2005. Immediately after, I attended the University of Texas Pan American, Texas State Technical College, and the University of Texas- Brownsville. After a lot of commuting around the Valley and hard work, I received my Bachelors of Science in 2009, majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in English. I was hired soon after by my Alma mater, Memorial Middle School. The first year as a Special Education Paraprofessional. The second year as the After school ACE Coordinator, and the following years as a 6th grade English Language Arts Teacher. I also am a member of the Anti- Bullying Committee, U.I.L, and Adviser of the Yearbook Club. Teaching Philosophy As an educator, I believe every child is intelligent and can achieve GREAT success. I do not give up on any of my students. I expect them to try their best and I will make their best even better. I want to inspire my students to become enthusiastic and motivated learners. |
